I've written a series of stories and staff profiles for a variety of for-profit companies and nonprofit organizations. Included is this story underscoring nutrition security, a growing movement prioritizing nutritious food sources for individuals experiencing food insecurity.  

Q&As WITH INDUSTRY INSIDERS 

My interviews with nutrition professionals and registered dietitians making waves have showcased innovative tactics for improving overall health via food. My Q&A with a dietitian underscores her impact on addressing a community's high chronic disease rate via her work at a wellness center placed inside a grocery store. 

CAPTIVATING PODCASTS

During my days as a full-time journalist, I helped create "The Survivors," a podcast series showcasing the lingering effects of American home fires. The story centers around a Lander, Wyoming, couple who lost two children in a home fire. The podcast, produced for the National Fire Protection Association, received first place for audio storytelling by PR Daily's Content Marketing Awards and the Gold Award by the Association Media and Publishing.
