Having already counseled hundreds of patients, my style is both compassionate and nonjudgmental. My focus is to establish a partnership with clients to help them reach their health/nutrition goals while addressing barriers that might get in the way of their progress.

I'm also credentialed as a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN). ​All RDNs have to go through an extensive process to get this title. I attended an accredited university and completed coursework in a variety of fields, from chemistry to psychology. Obtaining a master's degree is a requirement. I've learned how the mind and body operate in order to address the unique challenges that come with nutrition counseling. I've also completed 1,000-plus supervised practice hours in a variety of different settings and passed a national exam before receiving my RDN title. Most importantly, I know that counseling people is not a one-size-fits-all approach; each session is as unique as the individual. ​​

• heart health (including concerns with high cholesterol and high blood pressure)

• prediabetes/diabetes

• kidney disease

• GI issues

• how nutrition can aid mental health
   

I currently accept the following insurance plans: Aetna, Anthem, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, and United Healthcare. I also accept self-pay clients.​​​
